Tuesdays, June 4, 11, 18
9:30-11a

Tapas is the burning away of whatever stands in your way. Instead of being slowed and dominated by the heat of summer, generate tapas in your practice by gathering the wayward energies of the mind and re-directing its fire.

This series will explore seated twists, backbends, and balancing poses on the side including bharadvajrasana, ardha matsyendrasana II, urdhva dhanurasana, vasistasana, and anantasana. Deconstruct and practice these poses along with pranayama, meditation, and mudras to help you cleanse and generate tapas in particular chakras, or spinning centers of subtle energy. This can, in turn, free the will to help you manifest a stronger and brighter version of you.
