Balance the right and left sides of the brain and body through deep side-releasing work. Free restrictions on the lungs while strengthening the back to sustain a steady, upright, and easeful posture that allows the body to adequately support, direct, and expand prana (life force). Nadi Shodhanna, or alternate nostril breathing, is a challenging and rewarding practice that balances the nervous system and cleanses the energetic channels of the subtle body. This brings deep quiet to the mind, exposing the witness within, strengthening you for the many unpredictabilies in the world without, and opening you to see the patterns that lie beyond these supposed dualities.

This series will ease you into the practice of nadi shodhanna, which you will first experience reclining as a visualization. Learn different ways to sit and use props for adequate support so you can enjoy being upright with less effort. Time between classes allows you to practice on your own, essential to moving forward with this delicate work.
